✅How to create a Private Museum account?

Connect with your wallet or email to begin your Private Museum profile

Creating an account on Private Museum is easy, all you need to do is connect your wallet or use your email.

Unlike the typical registration processes of Web2, a password is not required for your account. Instead, your wallet address/email will act as the main identifier of your account, and connecting it is how you will "log in".

Please note: You cannot add multiple wallets to one Private Museum account at this time.

Supported Wallets

We support MetaMask, WalletConnect, and Coinbase Wallet.

If you don’t yet have a wallet, please read How to Setup a Wallet first. For first-timers, we recommend choosing MetaMask.

Please also make sure you have a browser that’s compatible with wallet extensions, like Chrome or FireFox.

Steps to Creating Your Account

Step 1: Go to Private Museum, and then click “Log in/Sign up”.

Step 2: Choose whether you are a "Collector" or an "Artist".

Step 3 (Collector): Login using your email or wallet.

If you are using your wallet, it will prompt a signature request. Click “Sign” to proceed to registration. If your wallet is not opening, you may need to click on its extension icon to open it yourself.

If you are using your email, you will receive an email login press the button "Log in to Private Museum", you will then be redirected to your Private Museum account.

Step 4: You’re all set! You should receive an email that confirms your registration. Feel free to spruce up your profile with an avatar, and a bio in the "Settings tab".
